EmailThey are many different types of foods available for the global consumer. Some are good for our health and diet, while others are not. Do you know what are good and whats not? This article will educate you on Acid and Alkaline foods and how it helps healthy living. It is wise to choose the right foods, it plays an important part in our life and keep you healthy and feeling great. Acid and Alkaline foods should be our basis in choosing them. Alkaline diet has been popular for the benefits it brings to the body. It is a kind of diet that contributes to the pH balance inside your body. Alkaline foods are always good for your body, while Acid foods are bad for your health. Acid foods causes low energy, poor digestion, extra pounds, aches and pains, and disease. How do we differentiate acid and alkaline foods? I'll tell you how. Acid foods consist of animal (red) meats like pork, beef, chicken, lamb and the rest of animals, as well as rice, pasta and most starches, caffeine and alcohols to name a few. Red meats and starches are harmful for our health, they can clog our arteries. Alcohols destroy our livers and can cause liver cancer. Cigarettes are no good for our health either, as they are very acidic and can cause lung cancer. I'm glad i kicked those habits in the bud. In my teenage years and early 20's, I used to drink and smoke. As I got older and wiser, I found out the bad effects of these through personal experience and knowledge gained. I came to understand even tho it is fun and enjoyable, in time my health will eventually suffer because of the nicotine and other chemicals which are detrimental to our health. We must know how to prevent ourselves from these unwanted habits. It really is true that avoiding yourself from these kinds of stuff is hard. However with some motivation and will power, it can be controlled or avoided. Most fruits and vegetables are Alkaline foods. These foods include fruits such as cherries, avocado, lime, lemon, grapes, apple, banana, watermelon and most tropical fruits. Vegetables such as pumpkin, squash, onion, broccoli, carrot, cucumber to name a few are Alkaline forming foods too. Eating Alkaline foods makes losing weight easy. Alkaline foods are really beneficial in losing weight, living healthy and maintaining a good, young looking personality. Not only this, it gives people renewed vigor, mental clarity, better over-all health, and a lean trim body. Restore your health by creating a balance in your diet that will give you the energy of a child again. All this can be accomplished by eating more alkaline food and less acid food.
